In the wild, the timeless dominance principle is more prevalent than ever.

Lions are the largest cats in Africa and the second largest on the planet. Additionally, they are the only pride-living totally social cats.

Females in a pride are often ᴄʟᴏsᴇ and frequently remain in one pride throughout their entire lives. However, males are kicked out of the pride starting around the age of 3. They frequently live on the move at this period or coexist with other men, usually their siblings.

What you’re about to see is comparable to two men ғɪɢʜᴛing in a bar over an attractive girl  except that lions are a little more out of control. The struggle for control within a pride is typical lion behavior.

The magnificent, thick mane of a male lion protects its neck during combat and acts as a status symbol. If another male tries to gain control of the pride, the current male or coalition of males will ғɪɢʜᴛ. If they succeed, the new, victorious males typically ᴋɪʟʟ any cubs still dependent on their moms.

We observe the lionesses in the area scramble away to safety as they rush at each other. During these interactions, any nearby lions may suffer harm. These enormous cats engage in vicious combat while holding their intimidating mouths open.
