In an unlikely match, a dolphin and seal have become the best of friends.

A dolphin named Jet became fast friends with its companion, a seal called Miri, at the Pet Porpoise Pool in Coffs Harbour, Australia.

The two animals met when they were two months old and have defied the usual separation between the two species in the wild.

The animals spend most of their time together playing games and having fun.

They also figured out a way to communicate with one another despite the differences in species.
