She continued, “And as your villain, I would say: cause a little trouble; it’s good for you.”

Katie Holmes was on-hand for the speech, and was nothing but complimentary towards her counterpart.

”I’m such a fan of Angelina. I think she’s incredible in all aspects of her life,” Holmes said.

”I think she’s just an inspiration. And her speech just, you know, topped it off.”

Despite Katie Holmes’ strong feelings towards Jolie, their children haven’t interacted.

However, according to reports from inside sources, both parents nixed the idea of the two having a play date. It is said the idea was nixed due to the two having very little in common.

“A bunch of Angie and Katie’s mutual friends suggested they have play dates when their daughters were younger,” says a source. “But both politely declined. I think they knew then that Shi and Suri had nothing in common.”

Perhaps another reason for the nixed idea might’ve been due to the fact that it would cast yet another spotlight on both children.

Angelina is very private when it comes to matters dealing with her children, and she also has a long list of parenting rules, which have been well-documented by multiple tabloids in the past.

“[Maddox] has dropped a few F-bombs,” while Zahara has been known to use “merde” in french, while always watching R-rated films, consuming nothing but junk food, and, in Maddox‘s case, drinking wine and driving the car around their property on certain occasions.”

Other tabloids would mention that Jolie had loose rules and the household was like a ‘hippie community’.
