Cute video shows a one-year-old child with Dᴏᴡɴ sʏɴᴅʀᴏᴍᴇ meeting his baby sister for the first time at home and crying every time she was taken away. Ashlyn Williams, 33, of Richland Township, Arkansas, welcomed newborn Collyns into her family, but she was worried that her brother Brooks would be ᴇɴᴠɪᴏᴜs of the new arrival.

Brooks’ face brightened up and he couldn’t stop smiling while meeting his baby sister for the first time on March 17 when Ashlyn presented the week-old baby to her husband Logan, 33. In the touching video, Ashlyn guffaws with delight as his little sister wriggles in her father’s arms. Brooks ʙʀᴇᴀᴋs into tears as Ashlyn takes Collyns away, and his mother replies, ‘You want her back?’ Okay, okay, okay, okay.’

Brooks’ smile returns as his sister emerge, and he can even be seen crawling higher up onto his father’s chest to gaze affectionately into his sibling’s eyes. ‘I can just tell they’re going to be great friends,’ Ashlyn added. We weren’t sure how Brooks would respond to having a kid around, or whether he’d be jealous of having to share the spotlight.’ ‘But it was very nice, he already loves her so much,’ she said.

‘He is such a sweet young child, and his reaction thrilled us to no end.’ He responded precisely the same way when he first met her in the hospital, so we just had to film it.’ Many people have commented on how wonderful Brooks’ reaction is and how he will be Collyns’ greatest buddy after seeing the video, which has been shared almost 3,000 times on Facebook.
