The cabin has a main bedroom with a king-size bed, a second bedroom with a queen-size bed, and a bunk room on the lower level with a twin-size bed, a twin trundle bed, and a queen air mattress. A magical Blue Ridge retreat awaits at this wonderful Waynesville cabin, perched on a peaceful hill, in proximity to Great Smoky Mountain trails, and filled with everything needed for a memorable family holiday. The cabin has a fully equipped, peninsula with seating for 4, a 6-person farmhouse dining table, updated stainless steel appliances, a center island, Crock-Pot, a wine fridge, a toaster oven, assorted dishware, and cookware, a coffeemaker, a blender, cooking basics, and spices. Enjoy outdoor living with a covered deck, panoramic mountain views, a 6-person dining table, and a gas grill. Inside you’ll find a flat-screen TV with a DVD player, banquet-style dining table, and gas fireplace. The cabin has laundry machines, linens and towels, central heating and air conditioning, ceiling fans, complimentary toiletries, and free WiFi. There is a driveway with room for 2 vehicles.

During your vacation stay, there is plenty to see and do. If you enjoy hiking you can visit the North Carolina section of the Appalachian trail which rises to spectacular summits including the 6,643-foot Clingmans Dome, the highest mountain on the Appalachian Trail, and drops into the dark and steep walls of the Nantahala River Gorge. The Appalachian Trail has 95.7 miles in North Carolina, but the also Trail runs along the Tennessee/North Carolina border for 224.7 additional miles. As the Appalachian Trail ascends to the High Country of the state line, hikers on the trail traverse the highest mountains along the trail, including several above 6,000 feet.

When visiting the trail you will need an advance permit for the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, and depending on the length of your hike, shelter reservations as well. All backpackers to the trail are required to stay at designated sites. Other area attractions include the Blue Ridge Parkway and the Biltmore Estate, yet in a world of its own, it offers you and your family and friends the ultimate luxury getaway. The cabin is located in Waynesville, North Carolina, United States close to the Cataloochee Ski Area (15.4 miles), Great Smoky Mountains National Park (12.7 miles), Pigeon River (19.9 miles), Big Creek Trailhead (31.7 miles), Nantahala National Forest (32.2 miles), and the Pisgah National Forest (52.2 miles).
