Man United star David De Gea’s car collection boasts amazing Aston Martin and a Mercedes van

If he does leave Old Trafford this summer, David De Gea will have to find a big enough garage elsewhere to house his stellar car collection.

The Manchester United shotstopper has amassed a fleet of fine motors since arriving on our shores in 2011.

David De Gea’s car collection is something definitely worth cheering

Whether he’s been running errands in Cheshire, or travelling to training in Carrington, the Spanish international has always done it in a car in style.

SunSport reveals the motors De Gea, 28, has got behind the wheel of in the past eight years…

A BRITISH CLASSIC

Back in December, De Gea treated himself to his most expensive car yet.

He was spotted in a stunning Aston Martin Vantage, worth around £160k as he arrived at training.

Then, months later, the United No1 went out for lunch with his partner Edurne Garcia Almagro, taking his fancy new motor for a spin.

The sighting came days after he let in a soft Lionel Messi goal against Barcelona.

MAN WITH A VAN

At 6ft4, De Gea is a man that needs a car with a lot of leg room.

If the Aston Martin Vantage doesn’t cut it, then you can be assured that his Mercedes-Benz Vito does.

Back in 2018, he was seen cruising in the £32k minivan with his missus Garcia Almagro behind the wheel, and looking rather comfortable too.

The Mercedes-Benz Vito is a favourite among footballers, with Raheem Sterling, Alvaro Morata and Jake Livermore all favouring them.

Some even manage to pimp out their vans with game consoles and TVs in the back.

THE COMPANY CAR

Back in 2015, Manchester United reportedly ordered their stars to drive Chevrolet cars to keep their sponsors happy.

De Gea was one of the stars that took notice of the marketing manager’s demands and was seen driving two of their cars.

He first opted for a Captiva SUV, which has a price of around £27k, and was often seen driving his pal Juan Mata into training with him.

Later, De Gea went for a more sporty Chevrolet Camaro, which starts at £31,755.

For company cars, you could do far worse.

ROUND THE BENZ

Comfort is clearly very important to De Gea when it comes to choosing a car to drive.

That means the PSG target often favours an SUV as his ride around town.

In 2017, he was often spotted in a Mercedes-Benz GLE class coupe that starts at around £62k.

Again, his teammate Mata often hitched a ride with his compatriot to training in this motor.

And you can bet they were never late, with the GLE able to hit 0-62 mph in just 5.7 seconds.

RED DEVIL

Getting a car in the colour of the kit your team plays in is sure to make you a fans’ favourite.

And that’s exactly what De Gea did with his red Audi RS5 car, which he was seen leaving Hale village’s La Vina Spanish Restaurant in back in 2015.

The RS5 is a favourite among footballers, including Spanish stars at Real Madrid and Barcelona.

Starting at £62k, it isn’t cheap, but it’s capable of reaching a top speed of 155.3 mph.

The question is will De Gea take all his cars with him if he does move to Paris?
